In the first half of 2020 alone, more than $1.4 billion was invested in alternative protein companies.
But while eating less meat is considered essential to help keep global warming under the 1.5 C limit set out in the Paris Agreement, not all plant-based meats are created equal, Marc Fawcett-Atkinson reports.
