Zero Carbon

With Chris Hatch

In a weekly climate newsletter, climate correspondent Chris Hatch sorts through the kaleidoscope of news, ideas, politics and culture to figure out what's working in the race against climate change.

About Chris

I really want this newsletter to be useful to you.

We’re exploring the climate crisis in Canada and around the world. The latest news. What’s working? What’s holding us back? What to do about it and how to talk about it (sometimes even how to think about it).

I’ve worked in environmental campaigns, strategy and journalism most of my life. Great Bear Rainforest to the Amazon and pipeline blockades to UN climate chinwags. Really value clear thinking, but I’ve got two boys and pretty biased towards a half-decent planet.

I’d love to hear your suggestions and questions so please send them along.

Also, thanks to I-SEA and the Trottier Foundation for their support of this newsletter which allows us to offer it to you for free.
