About Skylar Kylstra
Skylar Kylstra is a scientist and youth climate activist. She currently works at the University of British Columbia in the land and water systems department conducting research in the realms of land and water management, and she is passionate about using science to find solutions to issues of environmental and climate justice, food security, and sustainability. As a volunteer with the British Columbia Council for International Cooperation, she attended COP25 in Madrid, and co-coordinated this year's youth delegation at COP26 in Glasgow. She has a bachelor of science in global resource systems and a master's in land and water systems.
