Craig Hodge
Craig Hodge spent his career as a photojournalist with the Vancouver Sun and community newspapers in the Lower Mainland before being elected as a Coquitlam city councillor in 2011. Now in his third term, Craig serves as a director of the Metro Vancouver Regional District, is a member of its parks committee and is vice-chair of the Zero Waste Committee.
As well, Craig represents Metro Vancouver on the board of the Union of British Columbia Municipalities and chairs its community safety committee. He is also the co-chair of British Columbia’s RCMP contract management committee.
A longtime community volunteer, Craig was president of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce and the Coquitlam Heritage Society, and co-authored a history book about the city. When his three sons were younger, Craig coached soccer and ball hockey. Today, he continues to volunteer as a Scout leader.
