François Delorme
About François Delorme
François Delorme teaches at the economics department of the business school of Sherbrooke University and is the CEO of François Delorme Consultation Inc. His particular fields of interest are macroeconomics, public finance, behaviourial economics, inequality issues and environmental economics. He was chief economist at Industry Canada and was a senior civil servant for 20 years at the federal Department of Finance.
In July 2017 he was recruited as an expert by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), under the auspices of the UN, to participate in the assessment and analysis modeling strategies. Two months later he joined the international team of researchers at the World Inequality Lab, under the direction of Thomas Piketty
