About Hanna Araza

Hanna is a recent graduate of Simon Fraser University where she studied communications and print & digital publishing. She is passionate about sustainability, intersectional climate justice, and environmental communication as a vital tool for strengthening collective efficacy and co-creating sustainable futures. Her experiences include community engagement and communication work with Media Democracy Days, Apathy is Boring, Insight Global Education, and participation in SFU Centre for Dialogue's Semester in Climate Futures program. Currently, she is a co-founder of Bloom Zine Collective, a community zine that celebrates and amplifies the art and stories of marginalized QTBIPOC folks in BC.
