Julia Shipley is a freelance journalist based in New York City. As a Columbia Journalism Investigations fellow she contributed to climate-health and climate-housing projects in audio and print in collaboration with NPR, Texas Newsroom, The Center for Public Integrity, Yahoo News, and Mother Jones. A 2022 co-recipient of the Joan Konner Fellowship Journalism of Ideas, she is currently an arts and culture correspondent for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
