About Lana Goldberg

Lana Goldberg has been campaigning on environmental and social justice issues for more than a decade. She has led grassroots organizing in Ontario and has worked with advocacy organizations. During her time at Greenpeace Canada she challenged the destructive practices of oil, gas, and pipeline companies. At Environmental Defence, she was engaged in energy policy and pressed the Ontario government to act on climate. For Grassy Narrows First Nation in northern Ontario, she ran a national Mercury Justice education and pressure campaign, helping to secure federal government commitments for the community. As a climate campaigner on Stand.earth’s SAFE Cities team, Lana is building a movement for bottom-up climate action in towns and cities, while pushing higher levels of government to do their part. She is based in Tkoronto (Toronto).
