About Laura Schnurr
Laura Schnurr lives in Tiohtià:ke|Montreal, on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. As director of Climate Transitions with Tamarack Institute, she supports cities and communities in their journeys towards ensuring a just, equitable and sustainable future for the next seven generations and beyond.
Schnurr previously worked with the McConnell Foundation, several federal government departments and holds a BComm and a masters in global studies. She co-authored a book on UN reform and runs a social enterprise promoting women's economic empowerment in Uganda. She is vice-chair of the COVID-19 Help Hub, a Montreal-based non-profit.
