Marie-Justine Labelle is Head of Responsible Investment at Desjardins Investments, overseeing its responsible investment strategy and approaches for investment solutions offered to Desjardins’ retail clients. Prior to this, she was a sustainable finance specialist within PwC UK’s Sustainability & Climate Change team where she worked with clients such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the Coalition for Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC), the Natural Capital Finance Alliance (NCFA) and the Green Climate Fund. In 2019, she led the first pilots using the Exploring Natural Capital Opportunities, Risks and Exposure (ENCORE) tool to conduct natural capital risk assessments with five financial institutions for the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP-FI).
